Mumbai police has won twitter with their amusing tweets
The Mumbai Police joined twitter in December last year and since then has been writing witty tweets which are not only amusing but very intelligent. Twitter is the hub of all puns and humor and they have made the best out of this channel. Their handles use humor to talk about cyber stalking, traffic safety and an anti-drugs issues which helps them reach out to twitter’s pun loving audience.
The two handles @MumbaiPolice and @CPMumbaiPolice make use of memes like “be like bill”, hashtags, puns and one liners that help them create buzz on the channel. These handles are currently being managed by a Mumbai based digital agency. Currently they are spreading awareness about their campaign on drugs – Anti drugs week.
